[Job-Vacancy] Various Job Oppurtunity at coal mining company (managerial Level)

 

one of our client, a coal mining company, currently requires several managerial level employees to be placed as:

Safety, Health and Environment
Output:   
Ensure that all bulk explosives operations, including all Bulk plants and MMU's, conform to and meet the AEL's SH&E standards
     
Measure:   
  • Conformance of all products, plants and equipment to SH&E standards and statutory requirements
  • No LTI's, MTI's or significant losses of containment
  • Compliance to the AA system
  • Number of operational and technical audits carried out, and the active promotion of SH&E and World Class audits
  • The way in which AEL is promoted through Tool Box Talks, Monthly Safety Meetings, and ongoing discussions with customers and statutory authorities

Key Activities:

  • Setting and maintaining appropriate SH&E standards
  • Setting and maintaining operational standards
  • Ensuring that procedures are in place to identify and manage current and potential hazards within all processes
  • Regularly auditing the compliance of products and processes to their operation and technical standards and, as required, developing appropriate corrective plans
  • Assisting Country Manager in the development and implementation of SH&E Plans for Indonesia.  Managing the challenging environment we operate in, particularly in remote locations.


Quality
Output:
Ensure that all manufacturing processes conform to their technical specifications and requirements and that all products satisfy the requirements of the customer
   
       
Measure:
  • regular visits to plants and monitoring production and quality records
  • plants complying to ISO9002 standards and as agreed with Country Managers, certification
  • results of customer satisfaction surveys and customer complaints
  • the level of waste and reject products produced
  • all documentation associated with the operation of each bulk plant is current and is actively used

Key Activities
  • monitoring the operation of each bulk plant facility to ensure that all product and processes conform to established technical standards and satisfy the ongoing needs of the customers
  • ensuring that each bulk facility reach and maintain ISO9002 requirements
  • developing and implementing programs for "continuous improvement" in the manufacturing processes and for products
  • assessing, on an ongoing basis, the suitability of locally available raw materials
  • ensuring all documentation associated with the manufacturing process is current and relevant

Operation Excellence
Output:
Ensure that each plant is operated to a high level of operational excellence and is always ready to meet the requirements of the customers
   
Measure:   
  • Plants reach Gold standard under the World Class audit program
  • Training matrices are in place and that all operators are trained
  • All deliveries are made "On time; In full"
  • No stock-outs of raw materials
  • Comprehensive leave programs are in place for all operators and especially for all expatriate plant supervisors

Key Activities

  • Developing and implementing competency based training for operators at each plant
  • Ensuring all operators understand their duties are carried out in accordance with established operational and SH&E procedures
  • Developing comprehensive maintenance programs for each plant
  • Ensuring that the plant is always maintained and available to meet the ongoing requirements of the customers
  • Ensuring critical operating and maintenance instructions are available at each plant in both English and Bahasa Indonesian.

Cost Control
Output:
Ensure that each plant operates within set budget guidelines

Measure:       
  • Annual operation budget and in place
  • Plants operating within agreed operating budgets
  • the number of competent local suppliers used
  • stocks are maintained at agreed levels
  • invoices paid are accurate and without dispute
  • no unexplained loss of raw materials

Key Activities

  • each year developing and agreeing with the Country Manager an operational budget for each plant
  • ensuring compliance with the annual budget by regularly monitoring performance and variance to budget and, as necessary, taking corrective actions
  • sourcing raw material, maintenance, spares and support from local suppliers
  • ensuring optimum holding of raw materials and maintenance spares at each plant
  • ensuring that invoices are raised regularly, are accurate and approved for issue to the customer
  • ensuring that all significant variances in raw material usage are promptly investigated and appropriate corrective actions taken
  • monitoring working capital levels and ensuring these are kept to a minimum

Market Support
Output:
Support the Country Manager in all operational and technical issues associated with bulk explosives in Indonesia

Measure:
  • customers are "delighted" by the level and quality of service provided from existing plants
  • active involvement in BRAD meetings
  • effective input into project and business meetings
  • all new projects run smoothly and meet all the requirements of the customers
  • quality of relationships with both local customers and international mining companies
  • preference of the Indonesian explosives entities to join AEL rather than our competitors

Key Activities

  • maintaining effective communications at all levels with existing and potential customers. If problems or concerns are identified these must be quickly passed onto the Country Manager for resolution
  • preparing and delivering technical presentations to potential customers (as identified b y the Country Manager) and associated statutory authorities
  • conducting product demonstrations and trials with potential customers and associated statutory authorities
  • assisting existing customers with the correct and efficient application of products
  • identifying and obtaining, as required, additional operational and technical support from AEL SA
  • preparing operational and technical information for all new projects within Indonesia and acting as Project Manager
  • Acting as good ambassador for AEL within the region
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with explosives licensees


Human Resouces
Output:
Ensure effective recruitment, training and development of key national operations staff into snr operations roles   

Measure:   
  • Effective pool of nationals capable of taking on snr operations role
  • Effective mentoring program for high caliber snr nationals
  • Reduction in ratio of expatriates to Indonesians in plant supervisory roles
  • High caliber nationals recruited and trained to meet operations objectives
  • Succession plans in place for key roles to be nationalise

Key Activities

  • Identify appropriate resources to help meet operations objectives
  • Provide personal leadership in appropriate behaviour and expectations
  • Ensure that performance management and appraisal and reward systems are in place and effectively applied to help improve overall business performance of PT AEL
  • Training and coaching of staff to achieve performance and development of their capabilities

Need a professional person to join their team as Operational Manager   

·         Male / Female, age between 27 – 33 yo, lived around Denpasar – Kuta – Jimbaran

·         Managerial skill & Multy Tasking

·         Can lead 10 – 15 staff, with high schedule, reports and work under pressure

·         Experience working with Australian Expat (knowing their culture , the way of thinking and attitude)

Requirement :

1.     Graduate from :

                                  a. Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering ( No. 1, 2,3, 4 & 6 )

                                  b. Bachelor Degree in Material & Metallurgy Engineering  or Diploma Degree in

                                      Foundry  Engineering ( No. 1 & 3 )

                                  c. Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering ( No. 3 )

                                 d. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering. ( No. 5 & 6 )

                                 e. Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety (No. 7 )

                                  f. Bachelor or DiplomaDegree inJapanese Literature( No.8 )

2.Minimum GPA is 2.8
3.Able to use Auto Cad 2D & 3D ( No. 2 )

4.    Students in Final Semester are encouraged to apply

5.    Maximum Age 25 years old

6.    Willing to be located in Karawang West Java
