Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm, seeks experienced professionals for an anticipated activity funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) that supports improved resource governance, forest management, legal and sustainable wood verification, and climate change mitigation.
Chemonics seeks applicants with experience and expertise in the following technical sectors:
· Forestry and natural resource management
· Policy issues related to forest conservation and sustainable forest management
· Payments for environmental services and reduced carbon emissions
· Legal wood verification, international trade standards, and market linkages
· Resource rights and land tenure
· GIS and spatial planning
Qualifications:
· Advanced degree relevant to at least one of the above technical areas
· At least 5 years experience in a role relevant to the work listed above
· Previous experience with USAID contractors and grantees desired
· Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages preferred
