[Job-Vacancy] vacancy :an opportunity as General Ledger manager
our client is a major publicly traded sportswear and equipment supplier based in the United States. It is the world's leading supplier of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment with revenue. It employed more than 30,000 people worldwide. curently there are looking for Account GL manager.
The candidate Reporting to the Financial Controller, the GL Accountant is broadly responsible for GL closing and treasury activities, performing goods receipt/invoice receipt account analysis, seeking accounting / internal control & process improvements as well as financial reporting. Specifically, the role will deliver the following accountabilities within the Finance function.
1. Reviews, analyzes, reconciles, and interprets financial results
with business managers and advises on financial implications of
business decisions.
2. Understands financial systems and data elements.
3. Prepares management reporting and analytical tools.
4. Researches financial anomalies and makes corrections as necessary.
5. Participates in the monthly financial statement close for
assigned entity, division, profit center, or cost center.
6. Monitors compliance of processes, transactions, and balances
with accounting and finance policies.
7. Assists in training accounting/finance policy, reconciliation,
and account analysis process.
-the candidate should have a degree in Accountancy / ACCA with at least 5 years' of relevan work experience infinancial accounting and SAP and preferably from Multinational consumer goods or retail industry.
-the candidate should be a strong team player. they should be able to explain information and persuade others in straightforward situations and make decisions within guidelines and policies that impact own priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines
