Urgently Required:
Our Client, an International Oil and Gas company, currently is looking for a well experienced Technical Consultant, with details as follows;
Requirements:
•Bachelor degree in related field – or its equivalent.
Responsibilities:
•Review and refinement of tender and contract technical documents, including Philosophies, Bases of Design, Scope of Work, Specifications to ensure alignment and clarity of scope across all technical documents for the FLNG FEED Tender.
•Ensure the documents are properly and adequately referenced to each other, the content is harmonized, there are no clashes between documents and collectively the information going out to the market is of a high level of clarity in that requirements are detailed, there is no conflict between the various content and with a minimum amount of ambiguity.
•Review of standards and codes to assess applicability with respect to the FLNG Facility.
•As required, review the documents for technical competence and assist with the final preparation and refinement of these and other technical documents that may be considered appropriate.
•Review and comment on the technical evaluation methodology and the respective evaluation criteria to ensure an objective based, thorough and consistent evaluation of the technical proposals is present.
•Review and refine the Principles for the subsequent EPCI works and production services ( Post FEED works) which will be set out in the tender to ensure bidders understand their eventual responsibilities and obligations.
•Proof Reading of technical documents to improve English, especially grammar and syntax, and to ensure consistency throughout referenced technical documents.
